The Croatian team has been disqualified from the CS2 World Championship for using cheats.
The Croatian CS2 team lost their chance to play in the final part of the IESF World Esports Championship 2024. The team was disqualified before the match for a slot in the LAN final, in which they were supposed to face the Polish team.
The organizers discovered that Croatian players used auxiliary programs during their match against Israel in the upper bracket. That match ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of Croatia. However, the results of matches that took place after this game will not be reviewed.
The European qualification for the IESF World Esports Championship 2024 is taking place online from July 6 to July 14. The teams are competing for five slots in the world final in Riyadh, which starts in November.
